This was such a painless process. I loved all of the options to see more detailed information regarding certain forms, tax breaks, etc.

Works Well but Has Issues

TurboTax is still easy to use, assuming you can purchase the version needed for your unique tax situations. Changing the features so that folks who used to use Deluxe now had to pay for Premier is unacceptable.
Also, I experienced problems paying filing fees with a credit card and had to call the help desk to pay for it. I am not sure what caused me to have to do this but it should be fixed.
The price increases in the software and filing fees also rubs me wrong. If the price increases could be attributed to increased security they might be acceptable but the news stories I hear have me thinking that Turbo Tax and e-filing are less secure now than ever before.
What's great about it: I like that the interview process is still relatively the same.
What's not so great: I did not like the confusion with the differences between Deluxe and Premier versions of the software.

Turbo easy

I've used Turbo Tax for a number of years. It is so easy to get through and does a thorough review of each item you need to include. I would recommend this program to anyone who wants to do their own income taxes.
What's great about it: This program is so easy to use. I especially like the fact that you can come back to it if you need to.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

When I checked the box relating to the rent of the rental property was not the fair market value I was told to enter it in the income section of the return. However, when doing so, I was unable to enter any repair expenses. For this reason, I had to reinstate my answer showing that the rent was a fair market value in order to include all of my expenses.
What's great about it: Easy to understand instructions
What's not so great: Not always certain if every entry is presented.
