Works but could be better

First off let me say that the product did my taxes 100%. It works well if you go straight through the process front to back in their expected sequence.
However, my life does not often work that way. I wanted to do an estimate early. They don't have a process that lets you do a pass and estimate at places you don't have all the data, book mark it and go back and complete that step later. So I did a pass with estimated numbers and when done created an entire new file for the real run.
Then I got about 2/3s the way in to find out one of the companies I needed a tax form from was going to be a month late. By this time I had put a lot of effort into entering all that detail, so I skipped that one form and went on. It was not easy or clear how to later go back and add that one missing form when I did get it. I did need to go on as I had to estimate my taxes for next year so I could make that first payment now. Missing the one form it would still be close enough for the estimated taxes in this case. Just not close enough to actually file.
The last thing that could be better was that it does generate the estimated taxes forms in the stack of paper but does not seem to actually tell you on the screen to process them or that they are there if you don't happen to actually read that stack which in my case was a LOT of paper, to notice the forms are there.
Bottom Line: This works and does the job. However, it could be better, in terms of ease of use.
What's great about it: 100% Works unlike a competitor which I tried
What's not so great: Navigation could be better
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Ugh

Seemed like I was misdirected to the on-line version that did not allow me to transfer my information. Seems like the version I purchased was more expensive than I remember and more expensive than the on-line version seems.
Still guided me through the process and I feel like as a team with TurboTax we did a great job on my taxes.
What's great about it: Transfered my information from last year
What's not so great: Launching Turbotax from an e-mail takes you to on-line version that does not transfer your info.

TAXES ARE A PAIN - This helped to get through them

Have been using Turbo Tax for years - have always like the ability to use both forms and guided questions. I do find that I have to review everything completely to make sure that I have not entered data twice.
Wish that you could have both the forms and guide opened together.
What's great about it: able to use both forms and guided questions
What's not so great: When reviewing everything in guided questions - some questions do not hold previous answers.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments
