Simple, easy and relatively fast

The software was very easy to use, since I was a Turbo Tax customer last year getting the previous year's information imported was very simple. the software asked questions and then walked me through the process. I was able to stop and save my return to go find other documents and come back right where I left off.
One suggestion for improvement, after asking the questions it would be nice to get a list of additional documents to collect to finish the return in a single session :)
What's great about it: The software asked the important questions and walked me through the areas I needed to fill in
What's not so great: I had to stop data entry to go find needed information, a list of docs needed would be helpful

Comprehensive preparation

I have used TurboTax for years to do our reviews through many different income sources and types. I have yet to come across something that it doesn't handle. I particularly like being able to navigate directly to the area I want to work on, rather than walk through the entire narrative to get there. The only problem I had was trying to go back through the dialog to enter the bank routing info for the state return. I ended up changing the form directly.
Overall, I am very comfortable with the resulting tax return, and I appreciate the error checking and audit probability given at the end of the process.
Keep up the good work!
What's great about it: Covers all the bases, including the uncommon situations
What's not so great: Sometimes hard to find where to change something specific on the filing.

UPdate needed to link returns of children

I have 3 children and I have to cross reference each of their returns with each other AND mine. ONe change to my return has to be updated in each of theirs manually and vice-versa. Why cant you just link the returns by say social security number. It seems silly that I have to print out each return to cross reference numerous fields for each return when they should just be linked. VERY very poor programming.
What's great about it: A little better than doing by hand
What's not so great: Returns of children are not linked? WHY????/

Just like every year, very easy and smooth. Last year did it online, this year bought it - prefer to have it on my own computer and have control of the entire process.
