What's not so great: I had to do quite a bit of hunting to find where to put my rental expenss.

Frustrating to use

I just want a program to file my taxes not try to sell me something every step of the way. Also the program has script errors pop up and required me to restart the program several times to complete my filing. I bought this program to make my tax filing less stressful and I wish I would have just used one the free sites to file. Think I'll try a different route next year
What's great about it: The program does fill out and file the tax forms
What's not so great: 1. Program freezes, too many advertisements.

Almost Perfect Except for

Usually when you leave the Turbo app it will ask if you want to save it, which than requires a response 'YES'. Why not just automatically save it any time a user leaves the app from any point in the program?? I lost all my input (2 hours work) by leaving the app after looking at the 1040 form. It didn't even ask for any response, just went to my screen saver.
(My wife reminded me that this happened in last year also)

What's not so great: Does not save input automatically all the time.

Did it myself

Every thing went smooth except dealing with a 1099-S form I had received from the sale of my mothers home. I will never have to deal with it again in my lifetime but others will. You need to simplify the software to help the people who have to report this income. It added hours to my tax preparing time.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax is still the best software out their for do it yourselfers.
What's not so great: Had one problem

2014 Fed and State Tax Return

It seemed easier to use than ever. I don't know if my life became less complicated or I am just more organized with my paperwork, but I finished it in one afternoon whereas in previous years it would take longer.

Update Trouble

After logging off and on again, the updates were installed. The updated should have been installed on your first login or when it tells you documents are not available, you should have the option to check for updates. We had to log off and on again, which is time consuming and frustrating. Last year, the same thing happened and we requested that an email be sent to us but it never was. After logging in and off several times, the updates were completed.
What's great about it: Once updated - worked well
What's not so great: We started our return and at the end, it reported that it could not file because documents were not available.
