the bug gets one into infinite loop of checking and filing. Was not able to get help right away, but figure out how to deal with it eventually.
What's great about it: easy to use
What's not so great: SW seems to have an e-filing bug
Pros: I moved

What's not so great: No comparisons with previous years returns as I am used to with Turbotax. I also did not like paying extra for rentals

The person assisting me from Tech Support did an awesome job! She helped me from beginning to the very end! She didn't hang up until she knew my problem was solved. I wish I remembered her name! She was a pleasure to talk to.

Overall an excellent product

99% user-friendly once you have some experience with TurboTax. Areas where I've had issues: (1) inputs assume that user has proper documentation - I sometimes get late or incomplete 1099's and it can be difficult to determine how to enter data from statements into TurboTax. And (2) I'm retired and have to pay estimated taxes; that would be easier if TurboTax provided the user with provisions to directly enter predicted incomes rather than deducing estimated taxes from the previous year's data. For instance, accounting for the impact of large, one-time energy-saving tax credits on estimated taxes.
What's great about it: A sensible and effective solution to dealing with a very complex tax code.
What's not so great: Navigating the process of using TurboTax has a fairly high learning curve.

Easy to Complete

I purchased the Premier version of Turbo Tax so that I wouldn't have to pay for the state filing fee. It says that my state return is included but yet I have to pay to file my state tax forms. Also, the download/cd version should import user information from the online version of TurboTax.
What's great about it: simple interface, access to explanations
What's not so great: Charge for state filing, doesn't import from TurboTax online
