Turbo Tax is my software of choice!

I have used Turbo tax for a number of years, at least 10. The software has the same format from year to year so once you have used it it is easy to use the next year. All of your information is carried forward to the current year and if you use Its Deductible, all you charitable contributions are imported as well. It makes doing the task of taxes easy. I hate taxes, but Turbo Tax makes it bearable to file. Thank You Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Always asks all the right questions
What's not so great: none I can think of

I've been using Turbo Tax to file both Federal and State Taxes for over a decade and never had a bad experience no matter how complex my filing year was. Definitely recommend using this product.
What's great about it: Great guidance on entries, no matter how complex
What's not so great: Going back to enter something takes me through all steps again.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Always consistently good and easy

This product is very easy to use and accurate. It is so much easier then heading to an accountant who charges you 5 times what you pay for this product.
Have used it for years and plan to do so for many years to come.
What's great about it: Easy to understand and in laymens terms

Yes Taxes Done

over all the program was extremely helpful - more so than the husband.
Was great for working with 401k's and 1099's and best of all the 1065 forms
What's great about it: I could download my investments
What's not so great: Hard to work with state retirement credits

2014 Was a Good Year

I've used this program for many years now, and I generally find it very user friendly. I have finanical market investments and rental properties, and the functionality is well suited for my situation. The only issue I had this year was that some of my quanlified expenses for education were being consumed by the various eduction credits making it look like I had excess distributions from my 529. Turbotax was optimizing my situation. I used the on line help and finally figured out what was going on, but it took a lot of time.
What's great about it: Most entries were very intuitive.
What's not so great: Not real clear on how education tax credtis were working
