Pretty quick and easy....

Overall, I really like Turbo Tax. It does a great job with a fairly complex tax situation.
What's great about it: Less expensive that other services
What's not so great: too many questions that don't apply to me

I always liked in past years but from having to upgrade to premier to charging me to efile when it was supposed to be free to not prompting me to print before efiling this was the worst turbotax ever

A little buggy, too many extra expenses.

I paid for the software, I then paid for a service fee, I then paid for state filing fee. Why is that not included? Maybe if I mail my federal, I should get the filing fee back.
Also, it kept asking me for info for schedule K1. I even verified with my broker, there was nothing that required a K1. But, it was almost impossible to get rid of!

This product is really wonderful to use. Not only is it very intuitive to use, but it saves me over $1,000 a year from my former CPA!!!
What's great about it: Easy to use; tech/tax support wonderful
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved, I bought or sold investments

problem with MS interest pulled overed from federa

For the last 2 years, Turbo Tax has inserted an additional interest entry when importing from the federal forms. This entry can't be deleted and during the review, one is forced to enter tax id's, ssn, and a name. I don't know why this is happening or how to fix it. I wrote "this is an error in trubotax for the payee name.
Otherwise I like the software and have used it for several years.

INSTALLED QUICKLY. WITH PROPERTY AND RETIREMENT INCOME FILING, I WAS FINISHED IN 3 HOURS.
What's great about it: EASY TO USE. PULLS UP LAST YEARS INFO. EXPLAINS LINE BY LINE EASILY
What's not so great: STATE E-FILING FEES TOO HIGH.
