The main thing I disliked is the program for the State deduction for Long Term Care Insurance. I noticed that no credit appeared on my State of Wisconsin form. I posed a questions and one of the other users of T-Tax answered by informing me that I needed to claim it on my Federal form even if I was eligible for a medical deduction on the Fed form. It would be NICE if the T-Tax program would advise users of this feature in the program. I will now have to amend my 2013 State form to recover the additional ~$80 refund I missed last year.

Great except for one thing

I have used TurboTax for years and have always been pleased with the product. My one problem this year is that I could not use the program on my Mac Mini because it was not compatible with the version of System X hat the Mini uses, so I had to prepare the returns on the laptop (which is newer), and the laptop is not connected to a printer so I could not print a copy of the returns. If I could have used the product on the Mac Mini, I would have given the product 5 stars instead of 4.

Been using TurboTax for many years and find this year's program the best that I have used.
What's great about it: Quick and easy to do.

Good product

A very good product that is easy to use. I have used for a number of years and found it easy and much quicker than manually. They walk you through step by step if you want that. Has good help screens and chat advice for questions. I like that they look for mistakes and double check unusual items. Would recommend product for even people that haven't done their own taxes before unless they have a lot of complicated items.
What's great about it: Like that it captures the previous years info. Good help screens and chat advice on questions. Easy to use.
What's not so great: Don't like that you have to pay a fee to e-file the state return.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Big Help Filing

I have been using Turbo Tax for many years. It is great to have control over the filing of your own taxes, time, privacy, etc. This year we had to file for 2 states (we had moved in 11/2013 and had some withholding go to a state we hadn't lived in in 2014. Just a little thing, but because I had to file in two states in order to get the refund needed to pay in our domiciled state, I had to pay extra for an extra state....a little thing, sort of, but didn't like to do it all the same.
What's great about it: Ease of Filing/ Questions asked and direction given
What's not so great: Not your fault, but I had to pay a ton in taxes

Great program

Again, Turbo Tax is easy to follow and I will continue to use it in the future. It's worth the cost.
What's great about it: Easy to follow
What's not so great: One issue with a form I have been filling out exactly the same for the last 5 years, but I hope it's okay.

This year went smoother than last but the state return still forced me to make changes in entries which didn't make sense. But until I did wouldn't allow me to file. When I did the return filed.
