I have used Turbo Tax for years (Too many to count) have never had any problems at all.

Easy as always

I have owned rental properties for the past 10 years and turbotax makes it easy to manage, especially when data is automatically transferred from year to yaer to make a seamless transition each new tax year. I wouldn't be able to do without it!
What's great about it: Turbotax takes care of all my rental business needs

Easy for "do it yourselfers"

I have been filing our own taxes for years using home tax software. Turbo Tax by Intuit is my pick year after year because of it's ease of use and versatility.
What's great about it: Easy, step-by-step directions.
What's not so great: None that I have noted

Good - Could do more

2014 tax return took my return into new areas.
Inherited Roth IRA - non spousal. I had to work around Turbo Tax not recognizing the MRD as being met and tax free. Why not ask about the chosen reporting method being used and helping with compliance over time?
MLP in IRA. Pleased in one sense as the K-1s for IRA held MLPs did not need to be entered. On the other hand, there are taxable scenarios that can arise. Fortunately the IRA trustee is required to monitor the potential tax liability and past offsets. Notice about this possibility would be better than implying there was none. While complex, a truly complete investment tax management software package should do more.
What's great about it: Handles standard situations very well. Keeps current and makes the process simple.
What's not so great: IRA held MLPs not addressed. Inherited Roth IRA took considerable effort get accepted.
Pros: I bought or sold investments
