Got me GREAT results

Liked transfer of previous years report, gives good visual comparative years expenses, etc.
What's great about it: Good review process, helped my memory banks.

TurboTax-Easy!

This is by far the easiest, most full-featured software for tax preparation. The step-by-step method is very easy to navigate and the program covers all the bases even for some involved entries, i.e. sales and exchanges of stocks. Error checking and audit checking is superb. And e-file is a breeze and free!
What's great about it: Simple, full-featured tax preparation program
What's not so great: The program does need more intuitive help links throughout.

Easy to use

Have used it for years and love it. Never had any problems. Appreciate access to help files and support staff.
What's great about it: Easy to use; can download investment data easily; can efile quickly
What's not so great: Would like to see the inestment portion for small investors stay in the Deluxe package.

Gets Easier Every Year!

I like that you have the option to go through a complete walk through of income and deductions or skip to work on the sections that you want to work on. I was able to start my taxes without all the necessary forms since I have to wait until mid february to get my Stock 1099B form. I also like that the software lets you know why you are not eligible for a deduction. Overall it seems to get easier to use every year. Great Product!
What's great about it: Found more exemption this year that I could have used last year
What's not so great: Not able to EFile State Taxes due to confusing rule of too much items of section 12 of my W2

Twenty Plus Years

I've been using the "Deluxe" version for over 20 years, so was annoyed that we had to use the Premier version, at substantial higher cost, this year. I went ahead and made the purchase, before I found out that there might be allowances made, as I had such great experiences in the past.
It worked as expected.
Perhaps I will get notified of some arrangements.
What's great about it: The same easy to walk through process to cover all aspects
What's not so great: Had to upgrade to Premier to get the same functionality
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Great Customer Support

I had a few problems I had never experienced in 6 years of Turbo Tax use. I called customer support and they made sure that my issues were resolved.
What's great about it: Support staff made sure all my problems were resolved before terminating.
What's not so great: None

Worst Turbo Tax software in Seven Years of Usage

Was never able to place my brief justification for a large fee that I paid to my financial advisor this year. I wanted to write "Investment Advisory Fees" on Schedule A, line 23, but it printed instead the silly statement "See Schedule A, line 23 Statement" on my return. And I clearly typed my statement in the appropriate box. Maddening!
Also, when I e-filed my Federal Tax Return, the program informed me I was getting a sum equal to that of both my Federal Return and State Return. Again, a silly glitch.
What's great about it: Kept Normal Routine and Questions
What's not so great: Had some glitches.as well as having to download a Premium version
