Finally Done

The live community made a suggestion how to fix the problem for not filing the State tax form N-158 but I was unable to do it because there was no delete option on the bottom of page nor could I redo that section where the person said to leave the space blank and not put zero. In fact the program automatically put the zero in the space.
What's great about it: For the most part easy to navigate in program
What's not so great: Unable to file Hawaii returns electronically because of N-158

I have been using Turbo Tax since the early 1990s.

I have been using TurboTax so long I don't want to switch for fear the information I've accumulated, and TurboTax maintains, would be lost.
What's great about it: If I have questions, answers are available and easily found.
What's not so great: Taxes are never fun. I have a lot of questions.

Wish IRS would allow deduction for the expense of using TURBO TAX.

Easier each year

Each year using Turbo is easier especially with the extended help drop downs. Also when having problems, turbo has helped me to switch between easy step by step to forms reviews which is very helpful.
More videos would be helpful
What's great about it: carry forward from prior year
What's not so great: RMD requirement not automatic, no ex of going from step by step to forms.

Be sure you don't miss this deduction

I had Turbo Tax import information from my brokerage house. It imported interest, dividends, short term and long term capital gains just fine. It did not import the the investment fees I paid into Schedule A Miscellaneous Deductions Line 23, if I hadn't caught this error I would have paid about $200 more in taxes. So wasn't impressed with Turbo Tax not catching this deduction.
What's great about it: user friendly
What's not so great: missed a deduction

Please make sure that next years TurboTax Premier contains all of the forms as the last 15 previous TurboTax Premiers had
