So easy!

I love Turbo Tax and have been using it for several years. I especially like that it retains data from the previous year reminding me that I may have some information I need to get for this year. It's easy, secure, and affordable.
What's great about it: Love the easy step interview and being able to view forms
What's not so great: For some reason the "sign me up for automatic purchase next year" did not go through.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Guided return seemed easier for 2014

In previous years had encountered a few glitches. For 2014, everything went smoothly. Only feedback for potential improvement is to make the initial download of the product I want easier. Not wanting to start with a free on-line version, I had travel through several screens before I could purchase and download my desired version of TurboTax.
What's great about it: Guided steps are a real benefit.
What's not so great: None.
Pros: I moved, I bought or sold investments

VERY EASY

First time I used it and even though it took me all evening the process was simple and very detailed. Used a CPA last year and they charged $300 with a $485 refund. This year same refund but got to keep my $300!
What's great about it: Intuitive and detailed

Really Simple

This was really great. My wife and I got married this year and we both thought we had kind of interesting tax situations. We were worried about how hard our taxes would be and so we almost had our taxes professionally prepared for us, but we decided to try TurboTax and was great for us. Very self-explanatory and user friendly.
What's great about it: Quick, easy, and simple
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved

Could't get it done without Turbo Tax

I have three rental properties and a few other unique circumstances and turbo tax always gets me through it.
What's great about it: easy to use
What's not so great: more help with state tax questions would be helpful

Get organized

I have used Turbo Tax for over 10 years. I stay with the same program so all my data is transferred. We own a few rental properties and their calculations for deductions is complicated. Turbo Tax does the calculations for you and places all the data in the correct forms. The programs puts the information where it needs to go. By using Turbo Tax for many years, it has enabled me to be organized with what receipts to save to be used for tax deductions. I have created files to place tax receipts in all year in each category. Doing taxes yourself is stressful but it saves money. It also enables you to know what receipts to save because doing it with Turbo Tax asks you questions. Then to answer the questions you need your receipts for the information to file your deductions. I have saved a lot of money using Turbo Tax. Thank you.
What's great about it: Nice that it transfer past data such as depreciation and passive loss carryover.

I have done taxes with TurboTax for at least 10 years and wouldn't do them any other way. It is straightforward and easy to use.
