I've used turbotax for 11 years now, never considered any other tax software.
What's great about it: just what I expected
What's not so great: Having to interrupt in the middle to handle my stock sale

A walk in the park.

This is my 45th year filing my own tax return. Turbo Tax uses the required calculation pages and provides the required forms. It's a lot more organized than paper and pencil. There is no running around town for the forms, or printing forms from the IRS site. As complex as our tax system has become, Turbo Tax walked me through the process and checked my work.
What's great about it: I like the step by step approach with the form views available.
What's not so great: The help screens were redundant, but that's the tax code.

I have been using Turbo Tax for the last 10 + years and you have made it better and easier to use each year.

Better in previous years

1) Gave me the option of "Various" for charitable date, then made me go back because "various was no longer acceptable." 2) Told me address was only necessary for donations over $500, then made me go back and enter an address for Goodwill. 3) State of Michigan used to allow deduction for donations to state colleges and universities. Looks like that ended, but you didn't list it in "what's new" for Michigan.
4) I've tried entering a nickname five times already. What's up with that? Are you trying to aggravate me?
What's great about it: First shot at rental property software... was helpful.
What's not so great: 1) Charitable entries 2) Wasn't clear about mid year change of primary residence 3) Michigan changes.

Very easy to download & pick up were you left off.
