Overall worked well. I was using the program this episode to file for my retired mother who is unable to complete this process for herself. I had an odd issue regarding savings accounts that were not reportable as income. Your program did not seem to help with this. I got the answer from the broker that manages those accounts. This cost extra time plus I had to wait for the next business day to call the broker.
What's great about it: Can complete at home and e-file from home.
What's not so great: Took a long time to get through an issue regarding retirement income that is not reportable.

Had to upgrade to premier in the middle of my return. Would rather just have gotten the right package to begin with. Had no problem with the conversion.
What's great about it: easy to use.
What's not so great: had to upgrade to premier.

Turbo Tax is the BEST!

I spent 9 years in State Treasury doing initial auditing of Individual returns. I have seen what other programs can and can't do. I chose Turbo Tax as my primary tax software. Even though I spend all day working returns, I still run through the whole "Walk me through it" section. That way I know I get ALL my deductions, I review what paperwork to keep, and I don't skip over something.
What's great about it: Quick, user friendly, and Help section is right on.
What's not so great: After filing I wanted to print the confirmation page and couldn't. Would like to get IRS IP PIN phone number - gone.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Made Easy

Turbo Tax made my job easy by showing me last year's numbers and asking the appropriate questions. I believe that I was able to minimize my taxes by following the guide lines asked while going through the contributions part of the Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Comparison with last years return and questions
What's not so great: Non other than I purchased Delux and needed Premier

Gets it done

I've used Turbo Tax for many years. It is detailed and accurate. Saves me time and money.
What's great about it: Federal info works great. Transferring previous year info saves time
What's not so great: Moved. Splitting income between 2 states not well explained. Guided step questions could be better for this situation.
