Good Choice

Easy to use for basics. However, it needs some more work in the selling employee NQO stocks when the taxable compensation is show as compensation on a W2 form. There needs to be a question as to "Did you receive a W2 for this sale?" so that the sale is not taxed twice. Once as W2 compensation and again when the sale is shown on Schedule D as a stock transaction.
What's great about it: Very easy to use and accurate.
What's not so great: Getting very expensive, especially additional state(s).

Have used this product for several years...and it gets easier to use each year with better instructions and guidance.

Took about a half hour to complete Federal and State. It made a capital gains nightmare easy as pie by importing all data from my institution and completing additional forms required. I didn't think I would get a refund but I did.
What's great about it: Easy to use.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

The actual process was usually clear. On those few spots where I had a question I tried the help section from other users and never got any answers to my questions. It would be helpful to be able to correspond with a group of people that could answer questions quickly.

What took me so long

Have been having the same person do my taxes for 30 years. Still spent a lot of time gathering data. This just let me enter the data instead of handing it over to an accountant.
What's great about it: less paperwork
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
