Used Turbo for years

Turbo Tax a must if you have complicated taxes. I had a rental I sold this year. The number of forms required by the IRS is ridiculous. Turbo Tax took care of it.
What's great about it: too easy
What's not so great: some errors on error review hard to correct
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

TurboTax at times is confusing: too much CPA talk.
What's great about it: TurboTax does the arithmatic for me.
What's not so great: Sometimes I don't understand how to answer your questions.

I have been using Turbotax for years and find it a great way to do taxes. If there is one. I didn't like the idea of having to buy an upgrade and maybe next year I won't have to or another program will be available. I like the fact that Turbo gives me all the updates and guides me through the entire ordeal. I will always use a program and just hope it is Turbo.

I realize it's probably not your fault, but there is no way to just print the actual return.
What's great about it: truly easy to get through

Thank you for making a PITA task EaZy! Turbo Tax saves me a lot of time and frustration, well worth the cost. And, saves me from saying "bad words" in front of the grandkids....
What's great about it: Clear, concise, consistant, intuitive, intelligent use of previouse years' data, all attributes of Turbo Tax.
What's not so great: None.

insufficient notice of change to TT basic

I have used TT basic for many years and assumed that I could do the same this year. After many false starts I had to upgrade twice to acquire the capability I needed (eg. K-1's and forms).

This was a difficult tax year and TurboTax addressed all the unique tax challenges that 2014 presented
What's great about it: Great "Questions" caused me to find deductions I would never have considered
