I have been using Turbo Tax for several years. We also have several rental properties. Turbo Tax is easy to use. HELP feature is also an excellent resource.
What's great about it: I like having the ability to switch between the step-by-step and the forms
What's not so great: Returning to a specific spot in the return without having to repeat the questions and answers that preceed it

Satisfied with TT

This is great software with no difficult tasks. But, I don't have to tell you how smoked I was about your removing the investment features from TT Delux. I'm waiting to see if you are going to force me to buy TT Premium next year. This makes the price ridiculous (it was already the highest on the market).

Easy to use Software

The software is easy to install and easy to use. I was able to get my taxes completed and e-filed in just a couple of hours. Most of that time was spent in just organizing my own paperwork.
"It's Deductible" is extremely helpful because we do a considerable amount of donating items to charities. "It's Deductible" makes it easy to calculate the value of the donated items and enter them properly on the tax forms.
The only criticism that I have is that there were a couple of items that I spent time looking up. After researching and entering the information, I found on a later screen that there was a large dollar amount that had to be met for the information to matter. It would have saved me some time if those dollar amounts were shown on an earlier screen.
What's great about it: The software walked me through every step of the process and was clear and easy to use.
What's not so great: When dollar amount requirements need to be met, those amounts were not on the first screen for the topic.

HANDLED COMPLICATED ENTRIES

I've commented on this issue in years past but it is still an issue. Whenever you stop working and shut down then you go back in to continue working on your return, it takes you back to the beginning. When you exit and log out and then return to continue working on your return it should take you back to where you left off.
What's great about it: It displays your refund or taxes due as you progress.
What's not so great: You have to start from the beginning each time you continue working.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

2014 Tax Return

Had brief euphoria when Turbotax calculated my tax rebate to be $235,000 +. It was a bloody typo in one form that once corrected calculated a tax due of $15,000. I'm paying the capital gains piper!
What's great about it: Import tax forms from employer, broker
What's not so great: Charging for e-Filing State Tax --should be free
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved, I bought or sold investments

Have loved this product forever!

I've used TurboTax since year 1 somewhere in the mid-1990's. Each year it's dependable, user friendly, and more fully featured. I'm a big fan and wouldn't bother with any of the competition.
What's great about it: Great interviews, easy to use
What's not so great: Summary pages don't remember where you are, scroll, scroll, scroll!

Done at last!

I have used Turbo Tax for my return filing since 2002 and once entries are completed and checked for accuracy and completeness, I'm very confident that my return is error free.
I use the auto reorder option also, which makes it effortless to get the next years version as soon as it is available for distribution.
What's great about it: Like the foward of prior years filing feature. Saves a lot of entries.
What's not so great: Would like to have fee for E-file of State Return changed to "free" just like the Federal Return

Stress Free and EZ!

I made the mistake of trying a different company's product once ... a very long time ago, but never again! I use TurboTax yearly because it saves me countless hours of headaches.
What's great about it: Even a novice can be walked though tax prep and remain unscathed!
