Worked well but I was a little surprised to see a total distribution rollover show up as income in a couple of places.

Do not sneakily jack up the price to do investments by requiring the purchase of the Premier product next year instead of Deluxe.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Fixed the goof

I have used TurboTax for years and trust it to accurately and economically prepare my taxes. When you realized that your customers were not going to like the changes you made to Deluxe this year, you promptly accepted the responsibility and repaired the damage. Even your retail vendors like Costco stepped up to make sure that customers understood the steps you had to taken. You can't ask more of a company. The automatic free upgrade to Premier was seamless. I'll be back next year!

Import from previous year was effortless and accurate. Logical process of walking through the income and deduction topics. I very much liked the error check which catches typo errors as well as inconsistencies in data entry. Upon completion of the Federal form, the import into State form was seamless. I like the ability to add "supporting details" to most of the data entry boxes, but it would be helpful if TurboTax reminded you that you can do this - it really helps to demonstrate how you arrived at your totals. A very efficient tool.
What's great about it: Logical data entry
What's not so great: The more complicate topics forced me to the Federal tax instructions

Pretty good, but could use some fine tuning: 1) put the 2013 functionality back in the Deluxe version, 2) It's Deductible is a bit awkward. Some simplification would be in order. 3) tracking down how to fix an error when the filing is reviewed by TurboTax software is more difficult than it shoul be.4) For charitible donation - addresses should be remembered from yar to year
5) add American Porfolios to the downloadable brokerage houses.

Another quick and easy year

Once again I was able to speed through doing my taxes, with only having to focus on the relevant aspects. I like the balance between guiding me and letting me go where I need to because I am familiar with the process and my return.
I was upset that Intuit changed what features are included in which versions because I have a single K-1 form that requires a couple additional forms to take a $363 loss, and had to step up to the premier for this one small item. I appreciate Intuit giving me a rebate for the trouble but will have to consider continuing with Turbo Tax next year -- been using it for well over 20 years.
What's great about it: Whizzed me through everything I needed and nothing I didn't
What's not so great: Not happy about the feature/version changes but ok with apology

Easy to Use Even for Rental Property
