Make my life easy(ier)

The original product provided was a surprise disappointment. But when I called I received the upgraded product I needed.
What's great about it: Pulls in data from investment statements, do not have to rekey. Helps with complicated transactions
What's not so great: Hard to compare year over year at detail level (or I just couldn't find it)

Line 15 on form 540 (Calif. Adjustments) provide for IRA contributions that were non-taxable by Federal, but taxable by the State of California. Your program does not allow the tax preparer to open the form and insert the adjustment. Certain tax payers would miss this deduction.
What's great about it: Guides and does the math thropugh the returns
What's not so great: Problem with California State return..

2014 Turbo Tax issues

Couple of issues this year:
Turbo Tax seems to have messed with the Business Expense Calculations removing them from this version.
Script error message showed up twice during processing this year and the 1099-Misc entry page showed a lot of empty forms that I had not entered.

What's great about it: very thorough and high level of detail; access to worksheets and forms is essential
What's not so great: problems in correcting entries; once its in you need to completely remove things rather than edit out mistakes

Easiest return yet!

In previous years entering my stock information was difficult and confusing. This year I thought the information screens were easy to understand and follow. The Help information was much clearer and I quickly got my answers.
What's great about it: This year the stock section was so easy and very straight forward! Pleasant surprise and made my entry much faster.
What's not so great: No cons for me
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

What's not so great: I really don't have any cons.
