I'm glad that's over

I use your Deluxe version to complete my whole family's taxes. That makes me a hero with my kids. All of my family lives in Texas except for my son who lives in Alabama, so I had not used the State product before. He would complete his Alabama State taxes using the Federal return as his guide. This year I finally broke down and purchased the state product. Wow. I should have done that years ago. Yes, it cost me a bit more, but it made completing the state return a non-event. I do dislike having to pay to e-file the state return though. I'd rather have that cost in the purchase price.
What's great about it: Stock transaction import, AMT
What's not so great: Didn't seem as user friendly this year

Not as good as usual

Program won't permit me to file NY State e-file independently of Fed. return.
Insists I upgrade to more costly edition to do schedule E.
Program is expensive enough, I 've been a user since mid-90s!!!!!!!!!

What's great about it: It is Turbotax!
What's not so great: Too many internal erros, had to reinstall 3 times

You required me to get a more expensive version for 2014 due to the need to record investment activity. I will consider other alternatives in the future.

it was necessary for me to call turbo tax support. Both Edward and Andrew were very helpful and allowed me to get by a sticky problem. Something has to be done concerning the difficulties in preparing tax returns. Its such a complicated law that must defy any effort to program such an animal!!!

Taxes with Turbotax is a Breeze

TurboTax is extremely easy to use and helps guide you through all situations. Using it year after year helps as it imports the right information to make you enter less. Help is always available.
I would recommend TurboTax to anyone that wants to do their own taxes.
What's great about it: The ease of which TurboTax guides you through all sections makes doing taxes easy.

Great Aid

Had a K-1 to enter worked ok on federal and first state but had problems with CA as a non resident
What's great about it: Transfers information from past returns, input information from broker & bank
What's not so great: CA return did not process correctly had to override some fields

Huge Help

Turbo Tax makes it easy when including a rental property.
It knows to roll over all usable data from prior years.
What's great about it: Asks all the needed questions to enter all the needed data
What's not so great: takes you to a few places you may not need to go

Taxation simplification

Although I will owe more taxes this year I must say the Turbo Tax software made completing and sending my tax information easy and almost painless.
What's great about it: Easy to navigate, understand and execute
What's not so great: Time consuming
