I have been using Turbo Tax for years, it's the greatest. Your help desk is the best of any I have ever used, friendly and so easy to work with, and they know what they are doing.

Easier than ever...

This is the 12th year I have been using Turbo Tax for my income taxes. A retiree I have significant personal investments in IRA's, stocks, and mutual funds as well as splitting my time between two homes. This year was the first year I was totally retired and to be frank...I was dreading taxes since I had am not an accountant and the IRS tax forms are often less than helpful. To my surprise everything went flawlessly and as a double check I had my wife do a QA check independently. The fact we came up with the same answer is a testament to the clarity of the instructions in the software. Great job...
What's great about it: Automatic Downloads from financial institutions were a breeze and made everything much easier this year.
What's not so great: Had to use the work around to get updates. Even when going the alternate route could not get TurboTax 2014 to launch.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

K-1 forms very difficult to complete but it should be *****noted**** before purchasing state tax customer should be advised which states do not accept e-file when K-1 is used in filing taxes. because of this I paid for state e file and could not e file my state return.
What's great about it: very easy to use and it makes filing more friendly
What's not so great: sometimes ite is difficult to understand

Deluxe Fine with Free Upgrade to Premier

While I do not have experience with other software tax preparation programs, I have many years of experience with TurboTax. I can't believe that it found me a refund from my state for the first time in years!
What's great about it: Easiest version I have ever used.
What's not so great: Investments not included in Deluxe version

I cant see doing my taxes any other way...little issues with the new program to make it like the old one but even that was totally painless........you have my business for (hopefully) years to come.
What's great about it: Very easy to get it done...

Fed tax program works perfect. I did not use the state programs. For states, I log into the respective state websites.
What's great about it: calcs and reviews work well.
What's not so great: Forced me to upgrade to premium for a simple capital gain calc
