I have been using Turbo Tax for the past 10+ years and as always, every year is a great experience, it's very easy and the help screens are very useful

We've used TurboTax deluxe for years and found it to be simple for the non-accountant to use. The guided tour is useful for either the new user or those that have a new financial situation. Another good feature is the listing of the previous year's category values. Especially useful when electing to not use the guided tour. Downloads from many financial institutions are exceptionally valuable in that they enable timesaving and increased accuracy of the plethora of investment entries. Unfortunately, it "appears" that next year a forced upgrade to Premium TurboTax will be required in order to have access to schedules that were included in previous years' Deluxe versions. A bit disheartening,, perhaps Intuit will come up with something to make it more palatable for their faithful customer base.
What's great about it: Down loads from many sources are possible, which save much time and help prevent entry errors.
What's not so great: Looks like next year a FORCED upgrade is required to allow for schedule D entries.

Confusing

TurboTax works well.
A bit upset with Intuit not informing past customers there will be NEW styles available for tax year 2014.
Not doing auto-renewal this coming year until ALL INFORMATION is made available.

What's great about it: Works well...adaptable
What's not so great: The different styles of Turbo Tax
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

I"VE USED TURBOTAX FOR THE LAST SEVERAL YEARS. IT"S PROBABLY SAVED ME HUNDREDS OF HOURS (CAUSE I"M NOT A COMPUTER GEEK) AND ALSO FOUND MANY DOLLARS THAT I TOOK BACK FROM UNCLE SAM. I"LL BE BACK NEXT YEAR.
What's great about it: ONCE YOU GET GOING, IT'S EASY AS FOLLOW THE DANCING BALL
What's not so great: HAD TROUBLE AT THE BEGINING TRYING TO FOLLOW DIRECTIONS ABOUT RECOVERING SOMETHING FROM LAST YEAR"S TAXES

Being all it can be

I love turbo tax and have been using it for over ten years. My brother-in-law is a computer engineer, and tax consultant for a green agent and recommended turbo tax program to me as being every bit as good as any program available, and he has reviewed many of them.
I think the city return forms are new to this years program and although I think it is a nice feature I had a problem getting the information from the w-2 to be included in the city forms.

Great Product - Again

Turbo Tax is again a great product for preparing my tax returns. The interview process is simple to use and very comprehensive.
The one concern I have is that there are some random entries on the tax forms that I did not make. i.e. On the Charitable donation worksheets, some are marked as "not for the charitable purpose of the organization - but were rather resold by the organization" while others are not marked as such. There was no place in the interview process where this information was solicited. I did not notice anything that makes a difference in my taxes, but these inputs of random information that I did not make are a little troubling.
What's great about it: Fast, Easy to use, Comprehensive
What's not so great: Some random entries on tax forms not entered by me.
