Got me GREAT results

Have used TurboTax for several years and am very happy with the results and ease of completing the returns.
What's great about it: Good review process, helped my memory banks.
What's not so great: Enjoyed working with the program - No dislikes.

33 years of success with TurboTax

I have used TurboTax to file my taxes since 1982. It has made a very complicated process possible and saved untold $thousand in tax preparation expense. Over the years I have used both step by step and forms methods. We rent a room out in our house. I have found TurboTax does not support the split out of expenses against the rental income and otherwise deductable expense such as Mortgage Interest and Property Taxes. I would hope this special scenario would be address in future releases.
What's great about it: Reliably does everything needed to file taxes
What's not so great: Needs some help in dividing costs for renting a room in one's home

Great step by step guide!

I've used TurboTax for many years without encountering any negatives.
What's great about it: Nothing forgotten. Fits any time schedule. Economical and simple to use.
What's not so great: K-1 section could be more helpful.I had a trust liquidation report that required considerable hunting to enter properly.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Simple Again

This product simplifies the tax return process. Instead of filling out the gov't forms, you are just answering questions. The program fills out the necessary forms for you.
The approach forces you to be methodical. If you take your time, and follow the steps, this is a simple and civilized way to file your taxes. You do not need a professional to do your taxes.
If you keep good records throughout the year, this product is for you.

Very easy to use. Provided helpful explanations. Detailed coverage. Very helpful comparison to previous year's return.
What's great about it: walked through steps in detail. Provided explanations for terms and items.
What's not so great: Can't think of any
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

2014 Return

Turbotax is easy to use. I have been preparing taxes with it for over ten years. It is flexible enough so that I can either enter the numbers myself or have the program lead me through all the possibilities.
What's great about it: Asked detailed questions that were sufficient to provide an accurate return
What's not so great: None.
