Thank you for another year of easy filing

I have used Turbo Tax for at least three years now, maybe more like five and it's great. I think it gets better each year. It's always rock solid and I never worry about the application crashing or confusing me.

What's great about it: The product is fast and makes filing a painless and easy process.

As stated above - the K-1 process and the idea you sometimes do 2 K-1 entries for same partnership form and only put the additional info on the second one.
What's great about it: Interview & step by step lead through return
What's not so great: K-1 process; unclear, difficult to deal with, non-intuitive

great until final step to e-file

beware that when you e-file there is some extra processing fee and also must use 2013 data in the form. It was not too clear about that. Hey hope that you have last years ID and password for the final steps. If you are slow the program will time you out but additional minutes are given if you are watching carefully.
What's great about it: walks you along and brings back last years data !
What's not so great: difficult to do the e-file (must use last years info...sneaky!)

Turbo Tax very easy to use as usual but very upset that did not have all forms as usual and did not know it until got email stating there was a problem and then in order to resolve it, had to spend extra money to get forms and then have to try and get it back from Turbo Tax. Not sure will use Turbo Tax next year.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Very upset that did not include all forms as usual and had to upgrade

Even though I get irritated with some of the fees Turbo Tax charges....I recommended to both my son and daughter, who are now independent, to use Turbo Tax for their returns. Their returns are simple so they both used the online versions. Doing your own taxes empowers you with financial literacy.
What's great about it: Ease of transfer of financial info, prior year info, competent and available staff.
What's not so great: The state filing fee is a "gotcha" extra fee I disrespect.

No Easier Way to File!

I have done my taxes with Turbotax for at least the last 15 years. Every year gets easier and I get my return faster. There is no other way to do taxes. The program is up-to-date with the latest regulations, and filing for me is a breeze, of course, this is if you are organized and have all your information handy. In my case it, which is not complicated, but not the easiest one, it takes me 2-3 hours to complete. Have never had any problem with the IRS, and if I ever do, I know that Turbotax is there to support me. What else can you ask for? If you want to be in good standing with the government, Turbotax is the way to do your taxes!
A great Product and I recommend it to any one.
What's great about it: Easy to use. Interviewing process with questions anyone can answer and have their taxes filed in no time.
What's not so great: None that I have found!

I was disappointed to find out that there was a security breach with some states. I understand that this has been remedied. Also, it's unfortunate that I had to pay more for the Premier instead of the Deluxe CD this year.
What's great about it: step by step process
What's not so great: had to buy Premier instead of Deluxe this year. more costly
