I'm so glad I can trust this program to help me through taxes every year. I have been using Turbo Tax since 2000. I can do my taxes in the convenience of my own home at my pace.
What's great about it: Economical & Convenient
What's not so great: Language of former years a little more understandable
Pros: I moved, I bought or sold investments

Forced to upgrade to Premier in order to have Schedule D and investments. Disappointed that I had to pay more, but the tax software is just as easy and reliable as ever.
What's great about it: Very easy to use
What's not so great: Very expensive for features
Pros: I moved

Clear and Accurate

Used TurboTax for quite a few years (~5-6) and have always been pleased with it. For most everything that I have a question on, there is a nice blue link that describes what the sentence previous is saying. Very helpful and as easy as tax preparation can be. Thanks TurboTax!
What's great about it: Very clear and straightforward; easy to follow
What's not so great: Tax Season Again ;|
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

It was okay.

Was a bit confused that large refund after input of income became a small refund amid input of deductions.
What's great about it: They are done. We got a small refund. We didn't owe.
What's not so great: Not as intuitive as some past years.

I love to do my taxes with Turbo Tax...was a little disappointed this year that I had to get Premiere to do Capital Gains....Luckily, Vanguard came through and paid for it this year...Had to search to complete Form 2210 when it automatically computed a penalty for not paying estimated taxes...all better now :-)
What's great about it: Easy to follow prompts...
What's not so great: Still need to know a little about your taxes

I always love using Turbo Tax. It really simplifies the process and provides excellent guidance when you are not entirely sure. Every year I notice updates to the product that make it even that much simpler to follow. Well worth the cost!
What's great about it: Easy to follow interview process, easy review, great error finder
Pros: I bought or sold investments

K-1 and Rental Property sections need work
on March 11, 2015

The K-1 and Rental Property sections of Turbo Tax need work. The explanations of terms is lacking. The questions about passive v. active, materially v. actively participated, and trade or business are very lacking in explanations that an ordinary tax filer (non-accountant) can understand. Write in plain English that people can understand so they can answer the questions correctly in Turbo Tax and have their return be correct.
What's great about it: Overall very good
What's not so great: K-1 and Rental Property sections need work
