Been using Turbo Tax for about 10 years now. The benefit is well worth the expense. Everything is set up to make filing a snap, no matter what your tax situation is. It even makes previous years' amendments relatively straightforward. I've been using the Premier version for Investment and Rental Properties for a few years now, and it makes tax prep so painless for me.
What's great about it: Easy and fast tool for filing

Excellent Software

I have been doing my taxes with Turbo Tax Premier for several years now and I was one of those who used to do them BY HAND many moons ago. It covers everything, even the most complex situation.
What's great about it: simple to follow, easy to use
What's not so great: none

It is a pleasure to use Turbo Tax to get the taxes done. The software does not allow you to forget anything. Truly a superior product.

Peace of Mind

I've used Turbo Tax for years and continue to enjoy (if you can "enjoy" doing taxes!) the program. Its fast and walks you through all the categories and explains if you don't understand a section. I like the idea of having a risk and error detector. I also like that it can import numbers from banks, W2's etc.
What's great about it: Fast, easy, helpful

Love TurboTax!

Walks you through everything step by step or allows you to pick and choose what you want to work on. Love the hints and help that is available on every subject and line item! I've used TT for many years and the 2014 edition is the best yet! So simple!

Makes Tax Time Easy

This is a great product that I have used for years. I have recommended it to many friends and family. It is especially easy if you use Quicken. With Quicken it is easy to get a report of any tax deductible item, ie Buisiness Expenses, Medical, Child Care, etc.
What's great about it: Step-by-step and easy to understand explanations.
What's not so great: None
