All went fine, start to finish in 4our hours. I was confused by the process connecting to my financial institutions. So very few are on your list.

Very easy to follow through, auto download from W2 and financial institutions. Fills in a lot of data from prior years and tracks year to year carry overs.
What's great about it: Fast, thorough, easy to understand, free efile

Loving Turbo Tax

I'm an Accountant and do income tax returns for my company. The returns I do for work are by far more complex than what I have to do for my personal return as I'm not as wealthy as the owner of my company and do not have a lot of complex investments. I have a few investments and own a home. I use a much more complex tax preparation software at work, and my predecessor used that to do her personal tax returns. But I LOVE Turbo Tax. I've been using it for 10 years now and still loving it!!! I recommend it to people who don't know much about tax law or tax returns. Turbo Tax makes doing tax returns simple and easy for the non-professional tax preparer!!

Tremendously Terrific TurboTax

I am a long, long time user of TurboTax, so I know that what I say is true! TurboTax has improved so much over the years that I can't imagine how it can be made any better, easier, or more accurate. But Intuit will find a way.
I have just finished my Fed. & State Taxes using TurboTax Premier and I feel a fantastic sense of accomplishment and self-satisfaction. I know it is totally correct, ,E-filed and on its way. Oh, by the way, Thank you so much for the free up-grade from Deluxe to Premier while I was in the middle of it and needed what Premier offered for Investments, etc. I'll continue to use Premier from now on. Thanks again.

What's great about it: easy and enjoyable to use.
What's not so great: State Tax E-filing charge. Should be free.

had entered an incorrect answer in the federal return which transferred to the state. fixed the federal but could not regenerate the state. once the error was in there, turbotax did not provide an option to delete the entry. I had not option to start the state over again and had to save the state return with errors.
What's great about it: liked that turbotax would walk me through the sections
What's not so great: could not regenerate the state.

Turbo Tax Premier

Not a rocket scientist, but I was able to complete all forms with relative ease except for a few tense moments. All questions were handled by a phone call.
What's great about it: Being able to import info from my brokerage
