I Came Back

I have used TurboTax for ten years or so. Last year I had to use a CPA because I sold my home which I had to declare as a long term gain. It had also been rented part of the year. It had a couple of more complications. Good call on that one. However, since my situation is less complicated, I'm back.
What's great about it: Good instructions, good hints. Review of options helpful.
What's not so great: At times, the hints and explinations use terms I am not familiar with.

i am upset that I had to buy the premier this year. I have used the deluxe in years past. I have been using your product for more than 15 years.

I have been using Turbo Tax for years. My husband does the taxes by hand. We compare our results and have often found Turbo Tax has found a deduction or credit that we weren't aware of. That is a plus
A negative however is that we couldn't input info from the bank and brokerage firm directly into Turbo Tax. We had to upgrade to a more expensive version than we have used the previous years

Continues to be a great product

I have used Turbo Tax for the last 10 years and will do so again next year.
What's great about it: Easy user interface. Allows you to either take a step by step approach, or target specific actions for those who have us
What's not so great: Slow startup this year due to some states blocking filing. I knew this was temporay and went ahead anyway.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

HAPPY TO GET A REFUND

Struggled a bit this year as we moved from one state to another, and had a bit of confusion on deductions, etc. I ended up calling the one state up and guess you all did know what you were doing so that is a good think
What's great about it: Been using TurboTax forever and will continue to do so
What's not so great: Struggled a bit with moving in and out of state
