Help with e-filing

Talked to Chad, was very help full. I was not able to complete e-filing due to computer fire wall issues. He step me thru the process and completed my filing.

Very disappointed this year.

I bought the 'premier' version of the program because I have rental properties in two different states. In early 2014 I sold one of the properties and I checked that box in the program. I went completely through the program putting the rquested data and when I got to the end I noticed at no time did the program ask me where the information was about the sale and I had a big tax due balance. I knew something was wrong so I went back through the steps looking for what I had missed. Nothing. I went to the IRS to see how they would deal with the situation and got my answer. Because the property had been our home for 10 of the 12 years we owned it it was considered a home sale not a rental sale. I finally found the section in Turbo that addressed this situation and filled in the data. I think Turbo should have asked the questions knowing I had sold property. I have been using Turbo Tax for many years and I have moved many many times, selling 10 homes, but I will say this was my worst experance with your product. I will think twice next year before I think about whose program to use for my tax return.
What's great about it: Once I got a good disc it loaded and gathered the way it should have.
What's not so great: The program was not at all user friendly when it came to unusual situations and answering questions.

Return Process

Wish things were put forward in a bit more straight forward and clear manor.
What's great about it: Seemed to cover everything needed.
What's not so great: Way questions were asked were somewhat complicated. Issues processing return.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

What I continue to applaud Intuit for is the ease of data entry and the clean-cut interface that they have provided for multiple years. The walk-through organizes the task for you, and in no time, you're finished! Thanks, TurboTax!

Old basic turbo tax not available

The old basic used to download my investments. This year I had to go to a premium to get it.

The other income areas (K1s ECT) need to be simpler or at least match in order those documents recievd.
What's great about it: Use every year cheaper than accountant easier than doing myself
What's not so great: Some areas do not match tax documents
