Awesome Refund

I have been using turbotax and doing my own taxes since 2002 and never once had any problems what so ever since everything this step by step and easy to understand I highly recommend all my friends to do it themselves with turbotax why paid someone to do something so simple.
What's great about it: Very Easy to process my return with the software as always
What's not so great: none at all

I WOULD LIKE REVIEWS TO NOT REQUIRE THAT YOU REANSWER CERTAIN QUESTIONS WHEN YOUR SIGNIFICANT OTHER REVIEWS EVERYTHING YOU DID BUT MAY NOT KNOW WHICH ANSWER YOU CHECKED OFF AND HAS TO GET YOU TO PUT IN THE CORRECT ANSWER SO THE REVIEW CAN CONTINUE.

First Turbotax in about 5 yrs

Good program. Easy to use and appears quite complete.
What's great about it: Completed my return in one afternoon. Easier than previous uses.
What's not so great: Didn't think I'd have to pay to file the state return.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Easy File

I have been using this preparation method for a number of years. I have not had any error and I feel my return has always exceeded my expectations.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax helps me file my return in the comfort of my home.
What's not so great: Some of the questions become redundant.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Everything pretty much the same as in previous years: quick, accurate, easy to use, etc.
What's not so great: forced to buy more expensive option to get what I used to get with a lesser cost version

Happily surprised

I did not use Turbo Tax last year and I was surprised at how easier it was to use this year as compared to two years ago. They easily led you through the steps and simplified the amount of information you had to input.
What's great about it: Much faster and more easy to use than last time.
What's not so great: Some print is too small for me to see easily

Change for the Worse

Unlike previous years, if an individual receives a K-1 form, one needs to upgrade to the next version to calculate. While doing it for free this year, Intuit is setting the stage for a higher fee for next year. A big lift in cost for no change in the current program. The rules on K-1s do not seem to have changed so I am not sure why they are doing it. I have read of the problems with TurboTax with fraudulent claims and add this additional issue, this may well be the last straw causing many people to change software brands next year.
What's great about it: Easy to use, accurate
What's not so great: Changes to Household version
