This is my first time using Turbo Tax

What's great about it: T.T. does most of the work once I insert the info from my tax documents.
What's not so great: Until I "got the jist of it" I was confused by the various sections. That was due to my inexperience.

This year I had issues with downloading updates. It would not let me e-file, until I did the update. BUt the update would not run. I spent about 45 minutes with Karen, one of your customer service folks, who was very helpful.
What's great about it: Simple to use

Sweet And Easy

Easy step by step directions. Multiple free federal files can be done (only 1 e-file) and 1 non-free state return. Should allow 5 free files for both. If someone is using this a business (charge them more @ a business rate). I would like to do my return + my daughters (without extra fees.
What's great about it: Step by step instructions
What's not so great: Multiple free federal files allowed; only one paid state.

I have been using turbo tax for 20 years. i choose to stick with what works and this works.

Lukewarm...

Many of the import items did not work in this year's product. I was forced to key in over 100 financial transactions and redo my It's deductible because it quit working. Also needed an additional state for my daughter that is in college. It is ridiculously expensive to purchase an additional state after already purchasing the premier product. I have used TurboTax for years and have been pleased. This year was a nightmare. I will definitely investigate other products in the future.
What's great about it: Transferring numbers from previous years
What's not so great: Too costly for additional state Many imports not functional

Always easy

I would like to see the "Continue" button on both the top and bottom of screen. The program seems to require a lot of scrolling.
I would like to see a recalculate button so I can do "what ifs." It would be helpful for seeing the tax impact of the various deductions taken from the W2s.
What's great about it: Generally very easy to use and I always recommend people to use it.
What's not so great: Was slightly thrown off by the upgrade, but not a real problem
