Had to buy Premier Version

I have been loyal customer of turbo tax for many years. This year I am very upset I had to pay more for Premier version to file capital gain/Loss (Schedule D).
What's great about it: E-Filling
What's not so great: Forced to buy premier version

Excellent as Always

I have been using TurboTax for almost 20 years now. Before that I did my taxes manually. TurboTax is fast, easy to use, prevents errors and gets the job done correctly for both federal and state. Best way to go.
What's great about it: Simple navigation, easy process
What's not so great: Paying taxes by any means is a pain

Good personal tax system. Too bad Premier had some of the personal business reporting capabilities stripped from it.
E-filing fees are way too high.
What's great about it: Interview format and automatic calculations are great.
What's not so great: Fees for e-filing are not so great.

2014 TurboTax

Easy review of filing taxes. It asks questions and you respond. Forgot something or don't know the answer, you can alwas get back to that question and reply to it. Much easier to use than previous version of TurboTax/

What's great about it: it's just fill in the blank and things are explained well when I click on the expanded information tab
What's not so great: didn't realize I needed the next version up

This year, we could not go to the next screen when completed the "required business expenses" - TT always asked for "description and amounts" even though they had been supplied. Finally skipped the section.
What's great about it: well-designed interface, good "walk-through" format
What's not so great: no 24-hour chat, at least I couldn't find it; every year a different bug
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved
