Not as good as last year's

This year's Turbo Tax was so different from last years. I got used to the last few years and found this one a little more difficult.
What's not so great: schedule D, and importing

Always seems easier

Always seems to get easier when filing!!!!!
Although when making an error, it may not be so simple to determine how to remedy the issue, even when it was highlighted in the review checklist. I can't remember my error, but could not figure out how to remedy the issue, but eventually figured it out.
What's great about it: easy step by step
What's not so great: some areas are not explained cut and dry

Easy Peasy

This is the first year I had to take a mandatory IRA distribution. I would not have known where to begin, but Turbo Tax took care of it magically and easily.
What's great about it: Quick, no headaches

Realtively painless

When I first got Turbo Tax, I just wanted to have access to the forms, So I preferred to enter things in the forms myself. Now my tax situation is a bit more complicated, but Turbo Tax has grown with my situation, so I've never had a professional tax preparer do my taxes. I've used Turbo Tax since 1985 and I've seen many of the annoying problems solved over the years. I often see a problem fixed in the next release.
I like the fact the IRS flips the bill for efile for federal returns Calfornia and Colorado should take the hint. It will likely save them overall.
What's great about it: Guided section has improved.
What's not so great: nickle and dime you on the state return electronic filing.

I've used Turbo Tax for over 10 years now, it's the only way to do taxes on your own. It's easy yet let's you be in control as much as you want to. I wouldn't use any other software for my taxes.
What's great about it: easy to use, holds your hand or you can take control, your choice
What's not so great: doesn't always explain the consequences of an answer

The best and the easiest

I started using turbo tax after going to a professional who told me I could not claim my son as a dependent because at the time he was 18 even though my son lived with me and was totally dependent on me for every thing. That was in or about 1998 and I have been using turbo tax every since. It is great not having to enter information that is the same from the previous year. I enjoy the personal support and the fact that turbo tax gets easier every year. I love the peace of mind I get knowing my taxes are done right. THANKS TURBO TAX
