Initially had trouble getting turbo tax to launch. Called the help line and she was patient, and went out of her way to get me going. Could not get my 2013 to launch either, so we knew it was something associated with the removal and install of different virus software. Ended up doing a complete wipe and reload of all software and things are fine.
What's great about it: Like the step by step.
What's not so great: when printing get too many extra copies like mailing instructions.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

IMPROVEMENTS NEEDED

In the beginning I'd be told I needed an update, but I couldn't get it to download or the download would fail partway through.
It is not easy to apply refunds to next year's estimated taxes. I ended up going into form 1040 to do it "manually."
Your estimated tax for next year doesn't work for the NH state return. I put in an estimated income for 2015 that was ore than enough to trigger a tax liability. No est tax due -- no forms printed.

Turbo tax continues to get better and easier to use. Being able to start and stop and do some research is also very helpful

I am so amazed how easy it is to just enter in my information even with 1099's this year. Thank you Turbo Tax Premier!!

Gettin' 'round to it

The ability to leave and return is great, since all my information is not available at one time. Using the e-file for both Federal and State makes it convenient to submit once I have all the information gathered.
What's great about it: Transfer of information from previous year is very helpful.
What's not so great: Trying to pay using my credit card took several attempts.
