I like transferring as much information from last year's return as possible. Made filing easier and prevented mistakes.

Excellent hep

I've been using Turbo Tax for a number of years. This year for the first time I hired an accountant to review my TurboTax results since my taxes had become more complicated. She found no issues and said everything looked great. Nice to know that TurboTax and i have been doing things right all these years
What's great about it: Clear accurate instructions allowing me to quickly file an accurate return

Forced to upgrade My version

I have used TurboTax for 4 years, but his year they decided that they would force you to buy the most expensive version if you wanted to do stocks and investing. Considering the complete lack of security we are hearing on the news, you really need to think twice if you want to use it again next year. At the very least TurboTax should verify if someone else is using your SS number to file a fake return ASP vs. wait over a month to report a problem.
What's great about it: it works
What's not so great: This year TorboTax is forcing everyone to buy the most expensive version of TuboTax if you want to do stocks, etc.

Had to upgrade to the premier because I have investments. Wish that was included in basic.

Great Software

Great software, very happy that I started using this a couple of years ago instead of spending 10x for someone to do this for me. Very straight forward interface that walks you step by step through filing both Federal & State returns, would highly recommend.
What's great about it: Super easy to use, very straight forward, tremendous knowledge base
What's not so great: Always a ton of updates to software, every time I fire the software up there is an update, not a TurboTax issue

Seemed better than previous years. Moved through quicker. Allowed reviews of only what I wanted to review. Did not drag me through walk throughs that I did not want.
What's great about it: Not buggy. Moved through quickly.
What's not so great: Needed updates almost every time I logged in.
