Impressed with home sale

Your product improves annually. I'm quite impressed with it. My only concern for next year is that I'll change computers during this year from Windows XP operating format to Windows 7 or 10 or ?? I presume I'll somehow be able to import my previous years data into the 2015 tax preparation package.
What's great about it: your product went through the home selling aspect surprisingly easy the first time without any issues.
What's not so great: I couldn't print the e-mail confirmation page - tried several times and ways.
Pros: I moved

less and less support each year

i have been using turbo-tax for close to 15 years, and each year the level of support screens or help documentation within the software is less and less. seems i now have to go search for the support, and many times cannot find it. i don't consider my taxes all that complex and i purchase the higher level version of turbo tax to handle investments and rental type properties, yet even with the higher version the support is really lacking. i should not have to go to the IRS website to find my answers,
What's not so great: support gets weaker every year.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

easy to correct errors

Please don't change what your individualized turbo tax will do from one year to another, weather basic, deluxe or exc. An old person like me has a hard time adjusting to not being prepared before we start doing taxes. Although It was easy for me to upgrade.

TurboTax is a good software program for doing your taxes.
Each year it gets a little easier, though it is difficult to get answers to any questions you may have.
What's great about it: Rolls over previous information from past years tax return.
What's not so great: Difficult to find and correct info that has changed in rollover.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I have investments and rental property and have been using Turbo tax to keep track of both for years. Very easy with the self guiding questions and pathways. Actually, almost enjoy doing my taxes.
What's great about it: Just gets better every year...have been doing TurboTax since the '80s.
What's not so great: Meets all my needs., bur maybe a little more indepth with tracking my IRA data.

Overall, I am pleased with TurboTax. I have used it for 5 years now and each year it seems to become a little easier for me. Thank you.
What's great about it: Step-by-step process helped me stay calm and know what information I actually needed.
What's not so great: There's no real person to doublecheck with

Easy to do - in spite of the IRS
on March 6, 2015

I've been using TurboTax to do both state and federal returns since 1998 and have never been disappointed. I've had to handle all kinds of situations: multiple returns for kids, education expense deductions, inheritances, rollovers, etc. and was able to easily complete my returns. I did try a competing application before but gave up on it because of the difficulty with finding out where to enter information. I've depended on TurboTax to navigate me through the IRS morass and it has yet to fail me.
What's great about it: Step by step ensures completeness but you can still jump around, if necessary.
What's not so great: The ammended return section is a not intuitive and didn't seem to complete the 1040X worksheet correctly.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments
