Why dud you make me upgrade to Premier program instead of "Deluxe" & how do I get the $25.00 refund because of these changes in your system?
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Elimination of D

I have been using Turbo Tax since the days of Macintax and wouldn't think of doing my taxes without it.
Easy, inexpensive and accurate. It eliminates the need to either digest all the various forms and instructions or to pay someone to do it for me.
The only complaint I have is that it seems to recalculate after almost every entry, and since I have a significant number of transactions that I have downloaded from my broker, it can be very slow. I would like to see an option to disable the auto recalculation feature, adding a "calculate now" button to the screen.
What's great about it: Easy carry over of last year's data, interview format, error checking
What's not so great: Constant recalculation slows it down

I have used Turbo Tax for 10 - 12 years now and have always been pleased with the detail and the ease of entering data. I like the flow of the process and the through, step by step nature.
I do think you spend to much time or trying to sell additional features and other products that are not necessary. I do not believe I need the premium version to successfully file my return. There should be a question and answer section to help determine the appropriate need
What's great about it: Works well, always has
What's not so great: Felt like I was pushed into the more expensive premium version

We have been using turbotax for the last several years and were very happy with the results. Last year we had to pay a fine for underpayment, had we realized we were going to be fined we would have looked much harder at our deductions. This year we had questions about a portion of the federal return and spoke to a lady in customer service who was very helpful. We e-filed our state return and it was rejected because we hadn't signed the return, we were under the impression that turbotax would have caught any errors like that. We had to then print out the return and send copies of all of our 1099 to them (not happy when you think you are done with taxes you don't want to hassle with it anymore) We were also given the impression that we would get a $25.00 refund from you because of some error between last year and this year. We are very disappointed in this years product.
What's great about it: Spoke to customer service and we were very impressed with the help we recieved
What's not so great: State tax was rejected - didn't get $25 refund as promised- paid fine last year for underpayment
Pros: I bought or sold investments

There wasn't a snag. I'm glad you decided to include Skd D & E in the deluxe model. Many people have brokerage accounts and need this form but not the upgrade for small business etc.
What's great about it: copied from 2013 return

After having your employee, Jesse, go on line with my computer we figured out how to print my return. Otherwise, I would have taken the software back and gone with another provider. I am a retired CPA and have done returns for AARP and then began using TurboTax in 2009. I hated to think I would have to start all over again.
What's not so great: I did not get any data from 2013 return except for addresses
