Helps me understand taxes

I absolutely hate the topic of finance and taxes. TurboTax gives me the confidence that I am doing a comprehensive job of finding all components of my tax situation. Plus, I can work on my return over a period of time and TurboTax keeps track of everything I've done.
What's great about it: Step-by-step walkthrough, analysis and checking for errors
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Excellent Product

Overall an excellent product. It was fast and easy to prepare. The audit check is a good addition. I would like to have had a bit more info on the health insurance marketplace portion. Other than that, I have been a satisfied customer for over 10 years now.
What's great about it: Easy, Fast
What's not so great: Would have liked more info on Health Insurance Marketplace

Troublesome Year

While the step-by-step approach is still the most thorough, the fixed nature of my annual income/outgo might cause me to work directly with forms. The annual carryover from prior year return is of benefit.
What's great about it: Product functioned as expected, similar to past many years of using it.
What's not so great: My anxiety with the state refusal (for a brief time) to accept Turbo Tax returns gave me cause to consider other options

Finished at Last

I had two or three problems that I needed technical support to solve. The wait time to get to a support person was very long. However, when I did get help it was done very professionally and in a very positive way to understand my problem and help me to a resolution. I hope to go back to Deluxe next year and have the schedule support there I need.
What's great about it: Product had the schedules I needed to file
What's not so great: I had to pay extra from what I did last year on Deluxe version
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Serious Bug

There is a bug in your software. If you store your tax file without valid SS numbers for security purposes, the Health Ins section will not accept you have health ins. and incorrectly calculates a penalty. Very disconserting
What's great about it: Brokerage Downloads
What's not so great: Can't fix something by going directly into a form, Health Ins Bug

Long-time Turbo Tax User

Overall, Turbo Tax has been very easy to use. I like the detailed question/answer process. However when dealing with he Alabama state tax return, the program did not recognize that Alabama does not tax military retirement pay. The page where the income not taxable to Alabama did not make this readily apparent. I caught it on a review.
I have not determined the cause as yet but will mention that when printing my returns, the top line of print was cut off (in half). Not a big problem as no real info was lost and there are for record-keeping only. I'm still trying to see if the error was in my printer setup.

OMG - What a surprise

I noticed you mentioned various forms in the deduction portion, so that it was easy to find, but you left out form 321. Could you add that next year.
I was so scared of owing thousands of dollars, but after finishing my taxes - thanks to the downloads - I did not owe anything. I feel so much younger. Thank you Turbo tax. I have done taxes through Turbo tax for about 12 years but this is really the first time I can honestly thank you a lot.

What's great about it: I honestly thought I was going to owe thousands of dollars, but surprise, 100 lbs lifted off my shoulders
What's not so great: Actually, nothing short of state tax
