Help When I Needed It

I've used Turbo Tax for several years now. This was the first year I had a state return rejected. Turbo Tax was there to help, and I got the issue resolved, and the return re-filed.
What's great about it: Up to date; helpful "Help"; assistance with rejected State return
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

2014 TurboTax Review

Found TT easy to use and handled all my tax situations (Premier edition). Recommend it and will use it again next year.
What's great about it: Well constructed with great customer support.
What's not so great: Lack of notification of estimated tax penalty

Two states

I retired in 2014 and moved from one state to another so I was a bit leery about using Turbo Tax to complete my returns. I found it reasonably easy and efficient but I will still have the returns reviewed by a local tax consultant to make sure I've got everything correct. One thing I don't want to do is file an incorrect return.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax allowed me to file returns in 2 states
What's not so great: It cost quite a bit for the second state

Why I like Turbo Tax

Very, very good!!! Easy to prepare and file my returns.
What's great about it: User friendly, very knowledgeable, faster refund
What's not so great: No cons, except you have to pay for State e-filing

Stressless taxes!!

I was stressing out as i starting my taxes but ended up stress free at the end. easy step by step setup is a great plus!
What's great about it: Super easy to use!
What's not so great: Need to be able to see tax forms as you go along, not just at end.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Deluxe to Premier

A hassle in try to use the 2014 Deluxe when I have used Deluxe for many years then having to upgrade tp Premier and not being told by Intuit that there was a free upgrade.
What's not so great: Not all previous Deluxe forms in the 2014 Deluxe

Did a reasonable job

Don't like that I have to upgrade in order to file my return next year.
I should have been told why I could not file my state return electronically. Perhaps I could change something so that it could be filed electronically.
Was not easy to discover how to file my NJ return after being told I couldn't file it electronically.
Wasted a lot of paper printing, I printed for review and when I thought I was just printing a copy of my NJ return it printed the entire package. Not a good idea.
If you send me to my NJ return it should be strictly the state return and not include the Federal at that point.
Save return and print return commands should be separate choices.
