As stated above, it was an extra trip to the store to get the right version of turbo-tax.
What's great about it: being able to take care of all the details.
What's not so great: needed to use premier!!

JUST SEEMS NOW NOT AS MANY ? BEING PRESENTED FOR ALL DEDUCTIONS AS IT USE TO BE .I HAVE BEEN USING TURBO FOR ABOUT 10 YEARS AND I FEEL I USE TO GET ALL DEDUCTION POSSIBLE AS A TRUCKDRIVER AND LANDLORD . NOW NOT FEELING ALL IS BEING PRESENTED TO ME UNLESS I ASK OR SEARCH FOR IT .BUT STILL GET MORE ON RETURN THEN GOING TO LOCAL PREPAIRER.
What's great about it: EASY TO IMPORT PRIOR TAX INFO
What's not so great: EASY TO SKIP MOST INDIVIDUAL DEDUCTION
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

2014 Taxes

The choices between full guidance and self-navigation further speeded up tax preparation.
Not e-filing 8949 forms is ridiculous.
What's great about it: As usual, TurboTax made doing my taxes a breeze.
What's not so great: For absolutely no apparent reason, TurboTax chose not to elecronically file my Forms 8494, forcing me to use mail too

It's as easy as falling out of bed

I have used TurboTax for more than 10 years and counting. Each year it has been easier to do my taxes than the year before. Maybe I'm better at it with experience but the program seems much improved each year also. I have not any serious complaint about any aspect of the Premier version of the program. Keep on with the job. You are doing great!
What's great about it: like the title says, it was totally painless except when paying it.
What's not so great: Some of the investment sites and banks did not download the tax information when they should have done so.

Problems this year

Not as reliable as we have found in the past.
Bought deluxe as in the past only to find that it had to be returned and premium purchased. Not happy with that.
What's great about it: ok
What's not so great: did not transfer data from last year, only names

I've used Turbo Tax for the past 10 years and have found it to be very quick, simple and easy to use. It doesn't allow you to make a mistake which I sincerely appreciate.
