Another Good Year

Been using Deluxe for years. I have royalty income and this is the last year for Deluxe. Have to upgrade to Premier next year if I wish to continue using TurboTax. Just sayin'.
What's great about it: Walks you thru all the steps with all the right questions.
What's not so great: None

I had to switch back and forth between Interview mode and Forms mode several times to link the 1099s to the Schedule E.

Pretty Easy

This was by far the easiest version yet for me and I have been using Turbo Tax for many years.
What's great about it: No Hick ups this year. Easy to follow instructions. Customer Service was great this year.
What's not so great: No real CONS to mention this year, good job.

Much easier than Excel

I used to do it myself using Excel. I tried TT2013 and came up with about the same results but spent fewer days.
What's great about it: Checking for errors and electronic filing
What's not so great: Had trouble figuriong how to enter QCD

Consistent Turbotax User

I have used TurboTax for several years and have great confidence in the accuracy of my tax returns. I always file electronically, but prefer to use software from purchased disks. Because of that I couldn't recover my saved returns from previous years I filed electronically, but could not recover anything from the Intuit site. Paper copies enabled me to complete this year's return by manually entering data from previous years, but it was a pain.
What's great about it: Easy to use. Thorough
What's not so great: Lost previous year files in computer crash and could not get them back from Intuit site.

Fast and Simple

I have been using TurboTax for many years, and have transitioned from married with 3 dependents and itemized deductions to widowed with 1 dependent and the standard deduction. TurboTax is very intuitive and does not waste my time. My only complaint this year is that we had to buy a more expensive version of the software to accomodate my sister's rental. This was very aggravating and totally unnecessary in my opinion. You have a good product. Don't mess with it.
What's great about it: Allows for shortcuts around unnecessary data entry
What's not so great: Changes required us to buy a more expensive version for my sister's rental.
