Good Job!

All went well until I tried to enter an EIN for a lawsuit settlement on a 1099 MISC. TurboTax requires an entry and will not let one proceed without entering a value. I called the lawsuit settlement firm and they said they were not required to send the information to the IRS. They refused to give me an EIN. So, I entered my spouses SSAN in the appropriate box and TurboTax accepted this and let me proceed. Fortunately, the submitted forms to the IRS do not include this value, so it really didn't matter what I entered. So, TurboTax needs to investigate what needs to be done here and alert the user to what they should enter.
What's great about it: Fast and Easy
What's not so great: I had a problem with an entry, which I had to resolve

Another Successful Year

This is the 10th year I have used Turbo Tax. I have found it to be very helpful and instills confidence in me that I can do my own taxes. They continue to improve based on customer feedback and make it easier and more streamlined each year.

The program work great, coached me on my investments. downloaded the info from the brokerage firm and took care of business. Very satisfied.

The fiasco got resolved for me at least, with a favorable customer service transaction.
Am worried about security, however. Tighten it up, please.

I like the product because it's easy to use, transfers prior year's info, thorough and intuitive.

finally done right

negative in finding out i did not have schedule d or state filing in the deluxe version. was helped by turbo tax staff with several calls to rectify the situation without further cost.
What's great about it: needed help twice after the deluxe problem. handled very well by staff.
What's not so great: very bad finding out i did not have what i had in the 2013 deluxe version.
