Major issue, easy as pie

I have done this process for several years and it has always been safe, complete and easy to follow from beginning to end--when the forms are sent in to the feds and state folks for processing. Sometimes things are complex in the returns and, at least now, they seem more straight forward ("simple"), but I have never been lost in the process of completing the required info to complete my necessary, legal, financial obligation. It works and it is as easy as can be (for a federal process!!)
What's great about it: Follow the steps and never overlook anything you need

My Thoughts

The final review has a bug in that it does the Federal OK then moves to State but after finish it loops back to start of State analysis routine ???
Also, the "print" file copy is more awkward than prior years. Print button not obvious.
What's great about it: Calculations good as usual
What's not so great: Really bulky at review and file stage
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Very Good Experience

The section on IRAs led me to believe I should enter information on my Roth IRA contribution and it would be deductible. Per the IRS, I don't need to report Roth IRA contributions. Other than that Turbo tax pointed me to some deductions and a tax credit I would have missed.
What's great about it: Very good at downloading info from my broker and walking me through the various sections of the return.
What's not so great: Section on IRAs was confusing
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

I have been using Turbo Tax since 1999! Now with a rental house I depend upon this even more. I was not sure how we would fare with the changes due to the ACA impact, but the program walked us through it. Would recommend it!
What's great about it: Easy to navigate with confidence.
What's not so great: Small hangups but the updates fixed it.

Excellent product

I loved the Premier edition. It did all the work for me. I had to enter several 1099s, a K-1, and a bunch of deductions, and the work was easy. Unfortunately, I have a situation where I am joint owner of accounts with my adult children, and my SS# is on those 1099s, but I want my kids to take the income on their taxes. The program allowed me to do that (nominee interest, nominee dividends, however it would not allow me to do the same for 1099-B ( sales transactions). Luckily this year it was not a lot of money, but this needs to be addressed for next year, to allow designating nominee sales. Otherwise, this program saved me many hundreds over my accountants fees from last year.
What's great about it: Easy to use, filled all forms for me, e-file
What's not so great: Could not designate nominee stock sales for jointly held stocks
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Pricing Changes
on March 4, 2015

Your abrupt pricing changes caused me to purchase Premier when I have used Basic for years. I received a nice apology from an officer of the company and I finally ended up with Premier for the price of Basic and I appreciate that.
Intuit will have to remain competitive and if you keep your pricing structure as you started it this year, you will not be.
I love the product but there are others and I will not pay a significant premium for it.
What's great about it: Nice appology and discount
What's not so great: It won't happen next year

Like the product as it is easy (for me) to use as I've used Turbo Tax for the past eight years or so. The information can be collected in synch with the Turbo Tax topics.
What's great about it: Easy to add the numbers as long as you know the "lingo"
What's not so great: The extra charges this year
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments
