Maybe it is the many years usage of TurboTax but this years' version seemed much easier to negotiate and feedback appeared quicker and more accurate.
Definitely use again AND thanks for upgrading!
What's great about it: Easiest version to use by far!
What's not so great: None
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Difficult to Follow

Used Turbo Tax since 2004 and have been pleased until this year. It was a bad experience from loading, to entering information, to completing. Instructions in all phases were poor to horrid.
What's not so great: Entering non qualified stock option exercise is a horrible nightmare. Extremely long load time (every time) .

Duplication of data between info from last year's 1040 and the Quicken download. It is not easy to see the forms themselves and switch back to the questions.
What's great about it: Good sequence of questions. Good download from Quicken Tax Schedule
What's not so great: Hard to go back to earlier questions
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Need personal help, like a phone number to call to talk to a person to solve a problem or ask a question.
Be able to print the page or form just completed.
Kept asking for employer & address before e-filing. Trouble is I've been retired as of December 2012.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Should have a disclaimer on the packaging regarding e-filing State. After going through the process it says "Thanks for playing...you're not eligible to e-file your state return.
What's not so great: Was not able to e-file State return. Certain schoold districts cannot efile.

I don't always find good answers when looking for help.
What's great about it: Really like the import features and some of the double checks--"is box 7 checked?" etc.
What's not so great: Would like to retain some of the charity names for future years

Deluxe would have been all I needed if Investments were still in it. For me Premier was overkill
What's great about it: Seems to cover everything
What's not so great: Didnt need Premier if Investments were still in Deluxe

Instructions do not match form 1099-B
on March 4, 2015
Posted by: TheSGM
Instructions for Form 1099-B and the 'learn more' tabs did not match the 1099 DIV I received from Wal Mart Stores Inc (C/O Computershare Trust Co.
The instructions listed 5 items for each transaction which had to be listed yet the items on the 1099 Div were either blank or did not correspond with my form.
What's not so great: hard to determine what goes where
