I tend to go through the process in one quick pass then go back and fill in the areas that are less familiar. I found it tedious to have to walk through an entire section to get to the specific area I needed to work on again.
What's great about it: I like the way it walks you through the process.
What's not so great: I had K-1 forms to fill out and had to find the area to enter them through the search field.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

My only issue is with the relative difficulty of completing the Form 1116. The necessary information is not requested when you key the foreign tax payments from the 1099-INT or 1099-DIV. Then, during Error Check, TurboTax flips you into the Forms view with little explanation.
What's great about it: Generally Very Good
What's not so great: Detailed Transactions Somewhat Cumbersome

Getting easier every year

I just wish the program would take me back to where I left off on the list of topics to complete for income, deductions, etc.. When I return to the list to complete the next topic I have to scroll all the way down the list to get back to where I left off, which I find tedious.
What's great about it: I like being able to go back and review and correct any errors with ease.
What's not so great: Getting back to the next topic after completing the current.

Minor stock sales moved out of Basic and into Premier pckg. Did not like that after successfully using the Basic for 10+ years. Seemed like a calculated move to force users to buy a higher priced pckg. May go to another product next year.
What's great about it: Seemed to cover everything I needed after some thought and reading the directions several times.
What's not so great: distinction on itemizing and standard deduction needs to be stronger.

disappointed about the Deluxe/Premier changes but it seems you went out of your way to correct. Hope the refund process will be easy.

The only way to file taxes

Great way to do your taxes. I have been using Turbo Tax for a long time. I remember my first DOS copy! I used a pro for a time but went back to TurboTax.
What's great about it: Fast and inexpensive
What's not so great: I don't have any
