TurboTax is easy to use and I have used it for about 4 years now. I appreciate the step-by-step instructions and how the software does all the appropriate calculations. Thanks!
What's great about it: Step-by-step guide is easy to use
What's not so great: I am having trouble figuring out how to import information from year to year

I have been pleased with Turbo Tax for a number of years but I just had what could have been a serious problem. I received a letter from the IRS saying I underpaid my taxes and when I tried to use my file from Turbotax it wouldn't let me access it until I downloaded an update. When I downloaded the update it did not retain my individual entries on the taxes. It did have the totals. I was able to deduce the problem from my individual paper records.

This is such a simple program to use. I have used it for the last 15 years and don't plan on changing.
What's great about it: Just easy to use and great tips/definitions
What's not so great: I have to pay for it each year.

I Always do my own taxes with TurboTax

I have been using Turbo Tax since 1995. I have never been audited since using Turbo Tax. The instructions are easy to follow and I am extremely happy with the product. I am a senior who flunked accounting in college. This program makes filing my taxes very easy.
What's great about it: I understand how to file my taxes with their easy instructions

Have been using Turbo Tax for over 10 years, always easy to use, steps you through each part of the process, good online help, cannot imagine using another product.
What's great about it: Easy of use, keeps records for me, handles stocks, etc., with ease

Excellent Tax Software

Been using Turbo Tax since 2003 and still love it. Nothing else to even consider. Will switch to the new tablet edition for 2014 and look forward to using it for years to come.
