Its comprehensive. It has helped me now for 16 years. I've had no problems. I appreciate the help pages and the ability to easily print out references.
What's great about it: I've been using Turbo Tax since 1999. I love it.
What's not so great: nothing

Good Tax Software

It is good software.
Use to be able to jump to specific forms, but could not this year. Recommend and will use next year.
Need to add address if you have had someone steel you ID.

Excellent for Ordinary Tax Situations

I have been using TurboTax for over 10 years, and it's been a extremely useful. I've prepared my taxes and those of my late father involving income from multiple states, numerous investments and deductions. With some careful reading of the IRS and state publications, I've always been able to confidently prepare returns efficiently and file them electronically at minimal cost.
However, I've been frustrated with TurboTax's capacity for properly handling investments in PTP's. These are notoriously complex, and probably are applicable to a small number of taxpayers, but if you hold such investments, you may be frustrated.
In particular, if you have a sale of such an investment position, it will take a lot of time and work to figure out how to work around the program to properly enter the proceeds.
However, aside from this admittedly complex situation, it's an excellent tool for tax preparation, and I will continue to use it.

Another great year of using Turbo Tax

Doing my taxes or getting them done for me used to be so stressful. Now with turbo Tax, once I get started, I don't want to stop until I'm done, and in a few hours, they are, and in the comfort of my home.
What's great about it: Love the way it guides and double checks everythng

2014 Tax Prep

I had to re-alphabetize charity deductions after each entry. My Quicken printout was in alphabetical order, however TurboTax listed them in the order in which I originally entered them over three years ago and kept defaulting to the original entry order rather than automatically alphabetizing them. It is very frustrating when you have a large number of charities to which you donate.
What's great about it: Easy to follow instructions.
What's not so great: Need to be able to save charity organizations alphabetically.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Been using this product for a least 10 yrs...most frustrating to date! Spent 30 on phone w/technician to get returns filed electronically...NEVER had that problem before.
What's great about it: Ease of data entry
What's not so great: Questions took me down paths I didn't need to go

Very good experience with your tax software. However, I was disappointed in the way you changed your service from Premier to Deluxe without any explanation.
