As usual, I can't break the darn thing!!

Though I am a software developer, I was very concerned about relying on software to build my tax filing and focus on my return value while adhering to IRS tax code.
Over a three year period, while I continued using the services of my CPA, each year I would create TurboTax filing with the same information provided to my CPA. Every year TurboTax lived up to its tagline by truly maximizing my return value beat out the competition; my own CPA. That was approximately 10 years ago and was one of the smartest money moves I have ever executed.
Today I feel much more knowledgeable about the tax filing process and I save consideral money each year by eliminating that personal CPA cost. And a few years back I was audited in both business and personal. I was quite nervous on the personal side where TurboTax was used, yet the filing held up quite well,
Intuit, I am very pleased with your product lines. Promise to continue striving for excellence, and I promise to keep spreading the word about TurboTax, Quicken Premier, and Quickbooks v15 Enterprise.
What's great about it: Simple user interace; trully superflouss
What's not so great: I like a little challange with my software. This one is Flawless!

Filed 2014 but no record of filing

No matter what I do when I sign into Turbo Tax it will always say on the tax timeline in an orange box "complete a 2014 return". I have already did that with Turbo Tax and both Federal and State accepted and gave me refunds.
What's great about it: I have been using Turbo Tax for many years and it's been great. Agent I talked to was great and tried hard.
What's not so great: No way to correct program if it does not acknowledge your activity.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

State Tax Return did not complete correctly

Federal law does not allow Employee Business Expenses except for the ampount that is over 2% of AGI. Pennsylvania seems to not follow this rule so I had to file an amended return. It ended up being easier to bypass TurboTax and do the amended return that way. Hassle. Ca you fix this?

Turbo tax covers all bases, makes it easy to file electronically, have used turbo tax for years will continue to use it.

Turbo Tax 2014 Software Review

Turbo Tax for 2014 rating is 10 with 10 being very good:
1. Installation easy and glitch free
2. Tax sections layout is easy to understand and use
3. Tax "easy guide" sections very useful
4. Tax comparison columns for last year and this year is a plus
5. Printing tax documents for e-filing or mailing seamless
6. Audit risk meter is a great indicator of accurate tax filing.

TEA (Taxed Enough Already)

Have used Turbo Tax for many years. Continues to be easy to use.
What's great about it: Straight forward and easy to use. Easy filing of returns.
What's not so great: Cost to have filing fees taken from return is excessive. So I do not use this method.
