I'm so glad I did not have to enter all those brokerage names & numbers.
What's great about it: Easy to input data from last year
What's not so great: I had a problem finding where I could import data from brokerage account.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Directions and vocabulary were clear except on downloading from a financial institution. Also, it was wonderful to have information downloaded from the previous years turbo tax.
What's great about it: Directions and vocabulary were almost excellent
What's not so great: directions for downloading from financial institution were incomplete and not clear

Fairly pain-free

I've been using Turbo Tax for many years and have never had a problem. But tax laws are so complex, that I just fill in the blanks and hope Turbo Tax is right. So far, so good!
What's great about it: The program does all the math and knows more than I do
What's not so great: It can be hard to find answers to questions

I used to do all of my taxes by hand. What a relief TurboTax is! It has saved me literally hundreds of hours of work over the past four years. I love this product!

It's Deductible not working correctly!

TT's It's Deductible software was not importing to my tax return. I entered my credentials and TT just skipped right over it! Went back and noticed it wasn't there. Read another reviewers note that fir some reason it's not recognizing passwords with capital letters in them! Had to change my password before it let me do it and I know the password I had was right because I was just in it! Secondly, the WA state sales tax didn't file in, I had to track down that area (sched A line b) as TT didn't auto take me there to complete this area! NOTE I would have had to pay $143 rather than receive a refund of $361 if these 2 things I had not noticed! I would say TT can't be trusted as well as it use to be!!!! CAUTION!!!
What's great about it: I don't have to manually write things
What's not so great: Would have lost major deductions if I hadn't looked!

Very pleased overall with the relative ease of use....not very nice though to initially request loyal customers, like myself, to pay for an upgrade for services (investment capital gains/losses, etc) that were included in the Deluxe edition last year
What's great about it: User Friendly, thorough
What's not so great: Expecting me to pay for upgrade

Massachusetts very buggy

Massachusetts tax return has several major bugs that could have cost me a lot of money had I not caught it in time. If you have tax exempt dividends, don't rely on Turbotax at all! Do your own math.
