Great product, very straight-forward

TurboTax 2014 is very intuitive and straight-forward to use. It would have been helpful to see screenshots or figures the interest and tax forms typically received from financial institutions, but the descriptions are easy enough to figure out if you have your paperwork in order.
The step-by-step instructions walk you through the entire process. Make sure to read through each form/situation very carefully and double-check everything at the end to ensure your maximum refund. If you take the time to be thorough and accurate, this process is as straight-forward as taxes can be.
What's great about it: Intuitive, straight-forward, comprehensive
What's not so great: Charge for e-filing state return

Excellent Service

I have used TurboTax for 3 years and have always had all of my questions answered promptly and accurately by the customer service "tax experts". I have always received my refunds quickly, and the instructions for how and what to file on your own are detailed and easy to understand. The software is fairly intuitive overall, and when I have questions about particular schedules I can always get the right answer.
What's great about it: Great customer service, Easy to use, great instruction for filing
What's not so great: Some wait time when calling, some forms are still difficult

Long Time Turbo Tax User

Although I was upgraded to Premier for free, I was surprised that Intuit had originally taken forms away from the Deluxe version. I have used Turbo Tax since the DOS PC days, and have found the tool so useful and money saving for the savy tax preparer DYI, so I hope that Intuit will not exclude forms from Deluxe next year. I would suggest increasing the price instead of removing forms.
What's great about it: The interview process, importing from previous year returns
What's not so great: needed to upgrade to Premier to get all the forms I used to get with Deluxe

Ten years and still using

Been using Turbo Tax for ten years. It just keeps getting easier to file every year. Tried an accountant last year, versus my Turbo Tax. As they say, I got a bigger refund with Turbo Tax, and it did not cost as much.
What's great about it: Makes tax time almost a pleasure
What's not so great: None this year that I encountered

It is good to be able to quickly see what you did the previous year, good check to see if things are changing. Still gets confusing when you read the questions and then go thru the help and you find yourself in the murk we call the IRS lingo.
What's great about it: Previous years inputs next to current
What's not so great: Wording of questions is sometimes confusing

I have used this product for years and while my finances get more complicated Turbo Tax is ahead of the curve in making it simple

Easier than I Remember

easy and fast. took 1 1/2 hours from start to finish. was disappointed I couldn't deduct adult children who live at home because they weren't full time students in 2014
